Hotop, Trudie H. (nee Hoffman)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Trudie H. Hotop, 96, of Perryville died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of John W. and Alpha L. Moore Hoffman. She and Walter W. Hotop were married Aug. 5, 1935. He preceded her in death April 2, 2004.

Mrs. Hotop was a retired certified nurse aide at the nursing home. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Ladies Sodality, and supporter of Miraculous Medal Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Alice (Randy) Ryan of Burbank, Wash.; two grandchildren, Brent Ryan and Aaron Nolan; and a great-granddaughter, Isla Nolan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Peggy Ann Nolan; an infant son; three brothers; and eight sisters.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. A parish wake will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul schools or church.

A funeral will be held Friday, April 13th, 2012 for 96-year-old Trudie Hotop of Perryville, who died Sunday, April 8th, 2012 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 26th, 1915 in Perry County, MO daughter of the late John W. and Alpha L. (Moore) Hoffman.

She and Walter W. Hotop were married on August 5, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2004.

Survivors include one daughter; Mary Alice (Randy) Ryan of Burbank, WA., and two grandchildren; Brent Ryan & Aaron Nolan and one great granddaughter; Isla Nolan.

A funeral for Trudie Hotop of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 13th, 2012 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Schools or Church.
