Huffman, Lonnie Ray
Lonnie Ray Huffman, 48, of Jackson passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014, in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, the result of a fatal trucking accident.
He was born Dec.16, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, to Paul and Lila Jackson Huffman. He and Jennifer Goza were married May 29, 2009, in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Lonnie attended Jackson High School. He was a lifelong trucker, most recently employed by King's Express in Chicago.
He was a volunteer fireman for seven years for the Fruitland Fire Department, owned and operated the former Chaffee Consignment and Variety Store, and was a member of the Chaffee Elks Lodge.
Loving survivors include his wife of five years, Jennifer of Jackson; 22 children; his mother, Lila Jackson of Fruitland; father and stepmother, Paul and Carla Huffman of Oak Ridge, Missouri; five siblings, Paul Huffman Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, Paula Huffman (Chuck Reed) of Blodgett, Missouri, Edward (Christy) Huffman of Oak Ridge, Renee Huffman of Jackson, Michelle (Jason) Wahl of Desoto, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Rhodes officiating.
Interment will follow in Caney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery near Oak Ridge.
