Jackson, Mary Louise (nee Moore)
GIPSY, Mo. -- Mary Louise Jackson, 80, of Gipsy passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo.
Louise, as she was known by family and friends, was born Jan. 7, 1933, near Advance, the daughter of Edgar and Minnie Yount Moore.
Louise and Jay Jackson were united in marriage May 22, 1954, at Advance. To this union two sons were born, Randall Alan and Larry Neal.
Survivors include Jay, her loving husband of 59 years; two sons, Randall (Janet) Jackson of Delta and Larry (Kathy) Jackson of Morley, Mo.; four grandchildren, Derek Jackson and Erin (Norman) Jackson, both of Cape Girardeau; Tara (Cory) Stallings of Shawneetown, Mo.; and Beckie (Jay) McMullin of Sikeston, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Matt and Addy Stallings, and Kaden and Lucas Jackson; a sister, Luella (Leman) Schrader of Jackson; and a brother, Loyd (Betty) Moore of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Jackson and Randall Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery near Zalma, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Berrong Church Cemetery, HCR 4 Box 11, Gipsy, MO 63750.
