Jaco, Mary Alice (nee Carver)
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mary Alice Jaco, 94, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Hiram, Mo., daughter of Dave and Jennie Dickerson Carver. She and Harley R. Jaco were united in marriage Dec. 29, 1932. He passed away Aug. 29, 1995.
Alice was a member of Grassy Friendship General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Leon Jaco of Marble Hill, Moddy Jaco of Jackson; three daughters, Betty Storie of Glenallen, Mo., Ruby Long of Jackson, Connie Graves of Marble Hill; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harley; son Dalford; two brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Sander officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery near McGee, Mo.
