Jennings, Imogene M. (nee Klump)

Imogene Jennings, 68, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at her home.

She was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Perryville, daughter of Lawrence and Lavern McClain Klump. She was first married to Edward Faenger. In October 1988 she married Charles Jennings. He passed away in July 1998.

Imogene graduated from De Soto High School in 1959. In the early 1990s she retired from McDonnell Douglas. She and her husband, Charles traveled extensively while he was district governor with the Lion's Club. In 1999, Imogene moved to Jackson from Cape Fair, Mo. She was a member of the former Parish Church of the Assumption on the Seminary Grounds in Perryville.

Loving survivors include a son, Danny (Sheree) Faenger of Bonne Terre, Mo; four daughters, Barbara (Ricky) Statler of Patton, Mo., Patricia Plett of Oak Ridge, Mary (Randy) Scholl of Pocahontas, Angela Hayden of Perryville; two brothers, Leland Klump of De Soto, Mo., Lindel Klump of Festus, Mo.; a sister, Mary "Sis" Schrum of De Soto; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son and a brother.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to service time Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.

A funeral was held today, Friday, April 17th, 2009 for 68-year-old Imogene Jennings of Jackson who died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at her home.

She was born Feb. 2, 1941 in Perryville, daughter of Lawrence and Lavern McClain Klump who both preceded her in death.

She married Edward Faenger.

She married Charles Jennings. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by Danny (Sheree) Faenger of Bonne Terre; four daughters, Barbara (Ricky) Statler of Patton, Patricia Plett of Oak Ridge, Mary (Randy) Scholl of Pocahontas and Angela Hayden of Perryville; two brothers, Leland Klump of De Soto and Lindel Klump of Festus; a sister, Mary "Sis" Schrum of De Soto; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 11:30 a.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.
