PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Harvey V. "Tud" Kiefer, 84, of Perryville died Monday, March 18, 2002, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born April 5, 1917, in Perryville, son of Andrew H. and Albertine A. Feltz Kiefer. He first married Margaret Sandlin Oct. 16, 1935. She died April 3, 1955. He and Rita A. L'Hote were married Dec. 27, 1982...

Funeral service will be held Thursday, march 21, 2002 for 84-year-old Harvey V. "Tud" Kiefer who died Monday, March 18 at Perry County memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 5, 1917 in Perryville, the son of the late Andrew H. and Albertine A. (Feltz) Kiefer.
He was married to Margaret Sandlin on Oct. 16, 1935. She preceded him in death on April 3, 1955. He then married Rita A. L’Hote on Dec. 27, 1982. She survives in Perryville.
Surviving are one step daughter, Janice Proctor of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two step sons, Donald Giesler of Perryville, and Daryl Giesler of Ste. Genevieve. Two brothers, Lloyd and Melvin Kiefer, and one sister, Mildred Mitchell, all survive in Perryville.
Also surviving are grandchildren and great grandchildren.
One son, one daughter, one sister, and two brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Kiefer had been an auto dealer and owned Kiefer Wrecker Service until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, 4th degree Knight of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20 from 4-9 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers with the K of C will be at 6:30. Visitation will also be Thursday, March 21 from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
Funeral service for Harvey V "Tud" Kiefer will be held Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The family requests memorials to be sent to St. Vincent de Paul school system.
