Kielhafner, John T.
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- John T. Kielhafner, 69, of Chaffee died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the family home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Chaffee, to Joseph and Theckla Heuring Kielhafner. John and Ann L. Schott were married Sept. 3, 1966, in Biehle, Mo.
John worked the family farm and also was a truck driver for Delta Concrete until retirement. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and its Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife Ann of the home; six sons, John Kielhafner Jr. of Whitewater, Michael Kielhafner of St. Louis, Ronald Kielhafner of Orlando, Fla., Stephen Kielhafner of O'Fallon, Mo., Joseph Kielhafner of Dallas, Texas, Mark Kielhafner of St. Peters, Mo.; a granddaughter, Danielle Swoboda of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, JoAnn Kirchendoerfer of Chaffee and Rita Kielhafner of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald; a sister, LaVerne; and his parents.
Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.
