PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alfred F. King, 70, of Perryville died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at his home.

Alfred donated his body to medical research.

All services will be private.

A private funeral will be held for 70-year-old Alfred F. King of Perryville who died July 7, 2012 at his home.

He was born August 15, 1941 in Wittenberg, the son of Henry King and Grace Frona Schraw King who both preceded him in death.

He married Josphine Mae Dodd on Sept. 8, 1962. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by two daughters: Debbie (Jeff) Geile of Perryville, Dottie (Terry) Buchheit of Perryville; a son: Donnie (Angie) King of Perryville; two half-sisters: Dora (Pete) Kokones and Nellie (Kenny) Harrison; grandchildren: Matthew Houren, Dustin Geile, Dylan Geile, Eric Buchheit, Elizabeth Buccheit, Emma King, Alyssa King, Lee Ann King and Jacob King; a great grandchild: Grace Houren and a sister in law: Janet King.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Grace Houren, a granddaughter: Sarah Buchheit; two brothers: Clay King and Andy King; four half-brothers: Bill Godair, Donald Godair, David Godair and Danny Godair; three half-sisters: Evelyn Godair, Marm Rose Godair and Nellie Mae King.

He was an army veteran.

He worked at Johnnie’s Poultry Company, and he

He retired from Sabreliner Corporation in 2004.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Alfred enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, woodworking, helping others and nights out at the casino.

Alfred unselfishly donated his body to medical research.

The family requests donations to camp Edi or the American Diabetes Association.

All services are private.

Miller family funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
