King, Terry Joe

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Terry J. King, 44, of Perryville, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Born June 21, 1957, in Perryville, he was the son of Clem and Rowena Yeager King.

On July 8, 1978, he was married to Connie Queathem.

King worked in the Public Works Department for the City of Perryville.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and belonged to the Perry Dice Boat Club.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, of Perryville; a son, Jason King of Cleveland, Ohio; a daughter, Amanda King of Perryville; a sister, Nancy Walker of Littleton, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A funeral will be held Thursday, May 9th, 2002 for 44-year-old Terry J. King of Perryville, who died Tuesday, May 7th at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 21st, 1957 in Perryville, the son of Clem and Rowena (Yeager) King. His mother survives in Perryville.

He married Connie (Queathem) King on July 8th, 1978. She also survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a son and a daughter: Jason King of Cleveland, OH and Amanda King of Perryville. A sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Willis Walker of Littleton, CO, also survive.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and the Perry Dice Boat Club. He worked for the city of Perryville as the Superintendent of the Gas Department.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8th from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 9th from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home.

A funeral for 44-year-old Terry J. King will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Reverend Craig Otto will officiate. Burial in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
