Kirkpatrick, Russell M.
GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Russell "Pete" Kirkpatrick, 67, of Glenallen died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 8, 1941, at Glenallen, son of Joseph William and Viola Slinkard Kirkpatrick. He first married Sandy Stephens on Sept. 8, 1963. He later married Zola Mae Miller on April 16, 1981. She died Nov. 11, 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth and Dale Long of Marble Hill, Mo.; a sister, Joene Powell of Fredericktown, Mo.; two grandchildren, Dale Long Jr. and Jessikah Long of Marble Hill; his special family, Mary Slinkard of Glenallen, D.A. and Mindy Slinkard of St. Charles, Mo., Jeff and Tonya Slinkard of Imperial, Mo., Logan, Dillon, Abigail and Ava Slinkard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roger Rice officiating. Burial will follow in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glenallen.
