Kitchen, William "Bud"

ORAN - William "Bud" Kitchen, 87, died at 5:40 a.m. Aug. 22, 2001, at his home.

Born July 11, 1914, at Lenox, son of the late William David and Augusta Emma Crow Kitchen, he retired as a truck driver for the Asa Asphalt Batch Plant in Advance. He was a member of Teamsters 574 Local Union Truckers in Cape Girardeau and the Country CB'ers Club in Chaffee.

On Oct. 26, 1960, he married Shirley Cook who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Mike Kitchen and Ray Cook of Oran; one daughter, Donna Pobst of Oran; and eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Three brothers, three sisters and one grandson preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.

Pallbearers will be: Earl Johns, Dwight Dobbs, A.J. Madigan, Walt Madigan, Dr. Carter P. Fenton and Neal Seyer.
