PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- LaVanche Klaus, 79, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.

A graveside service will be held Friday for 79-year-old LaVanche Klaus of Perryville who died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born January 12, 1933 in Pottersville, the daughter of LeRoy and Lydia (Williams) Simkins who both preceded her in death.

She married George V. Huse Sr. in June 1950. He preceded her in death in 1973.

She married Melvin R. "Sandy" Klaus on July 18, 1977. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2004.

She is survived by a daughter: Debra LaRee Huse of West Plains; a son: George V. Huse Jr. of Euless, Texas; a brother: Bill Simkins of Pottersville; and three grandchildren, Travis Austin Huse, Brina L. DeBrown and Donovan H. DeBrown.

She had been a bookkeeper.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and wood working.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A graveside service for 79-year-old LaVanche Klaus of Perryville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Association.
