PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Richard D. Klemp, 65, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at his home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors by American Legion Post 133..

A funeral will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 for 65-year-old Richard D. Klemp of Perryville, who died Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 4, 1949 in Perry County, the son of Leslie W. Klemp and Lillian E Blandford Klemp, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters: Natalie (Dominic) Orlando of Kirkwood and Christine ( James Van Becelaere) Klemp of Kirkwood; four sisters: Linda (Roger) Hagan of Frohna, Carol (Willard) Schnurbusch of West Plains, Marge (Tom) Buckner of Florissant and Diana (Tom) Bierk of Perryville.
He was also preceded in death by a niece: Jennifer Fonte
Richard worked at World Press in St. Louis.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, and received a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service for 65-year-old Richard D. Klemp of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Thomas Handrick will officiate.
Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with graveside military honors courtesy of American Legion Post No. 133.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
