Koch, Coletta Fern Pinkerton (nee McMullin)

Coletta Fern Koch, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Morley, Missouri, to Amos Cleveland and Maggie Elizabeth Bryant McMullin. She and Joe Koch were married July 1971 in Cape Girardeau. He passed Oct. 26, 1993.

Coletta was a seamstress at Lowenbaum Dress Factory 22 years. She retired in 1973. She was a member of Church of God in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a brother, A.B. McMullin of Arizona; two grandchildren, Tammy Murakami of Cape Girardeau and Denise (PeeWee) Cook of Sedgewickville, Missouri; and three great-grandchildren, Derek Cook, Colton Cook and Tate Cook of Sedgewickville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Donna Dotzert Rodenberry and Brenda Kaye Pinkerton; six brothers; and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Chateau Girardeau Employees Fund.
