JACKSON - Henry C. Koehler, Route 3, died at his home early this morning.

Mr. Koehler, 89 years. old, was born Nov. 8, 1878 near Jackson, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Koehler.

On Sept. 23, 1903, he was married to Miss Mary Belle Baugh, who died July 8, 1943.

He is survived by four sons, Lawrence Koehler, Clem Koehler and Bud Koehler, Jackson, and Paul Koehler, Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Mrs. Dewey Smith, Mrs. George Vinyeard, Mrs. John Horrell, Mrs. Tony Winkler and Mrs. Tony Laurentius, all of Jackson; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alfred Koehler, Sedgewickville; 34 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. One son and a daughter preceded him in death.

Mr. Koehler was a member of the Holy Name Society of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church here.

The body is at the Deneke-Laird Funeral Home where parish prayers will be held at 7:30 Tuesday night.

Funeral services are to be Wednesday morning at 10 at Immaculate Conception Church conducted by Rev. Bosco Westrich.

Burial will be in the Koehler family cemetery near Jackson.
