PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mildred G. Koeller, 84, formerly of Perryville, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 in Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Mo. Born Oct. 12, 1917 in Perry County, she was the daughter of Herman and Lona Moore Schumer. On May 22, 1934, she was married to Aloysius A. Koeller. He died May 1, 1993...

Funeral Service will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 2001 for 84-year-old Mildred G. Koeller, formerly of Perryville, who died Friday, Oct. 26 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1917 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Herman and Lona (Moore) Schumer. A step-mother, Mrs. Lillian Cleary, survives in St. Mary.

She was married to Aloysius A. Koeller on May 22, 1934. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1993.

Children surviving are James T. Koeller of Bonne Terre; David A. Koeller of Owensville; Ronald J. Koeller of West Memphis, Ark.; Andrew M. Koeller of West Memphis, Ark.; Stanley A. Koeller of Jackson; Phyllis A. Friedman of Belleville, Ill.; Coletta M. Knoppe of St. Ann; Mary E. Barton of Affton; Clara C. Ruiz of Memphis, Tenn.; and Jane F. Boyet of St. Louis.

Two foster sons survive, Bobby and Kenny Franks.

Five sisters and four half-brothers survive: Frances McCullough of Fairview Heights, Ill.; Zelma Huber of Perryville; Leona Richardet of Perryville; Edna Biri of Farmington; Evelyn Sauer of Perryville; Dennis Schumer of Perryville; Lawrence Schumer of Perryville; Eddie Schumer of Perryville; and Leonard Schumer of St. Mary.

Thirty-eight grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Albert and Linus; 4 brothers, 6 infant sisters, 4 grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was a former member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Prayer Group, Immaculate Conception Quilting Club and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jackson, Mo. and Member of Daughters of Isabella and Ministry of Praise.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 28 from 2-9 p.m. and on Monday, Oct. 29 from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Prayer Service will be Sunday at 7 p.m.

Funeral service for Mildred G. Koeller will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Joe Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Immaculate Conception Quilting Club or American Diabetes Association.
