Koenig, Dennis M.
FARRAR, Mo. -- Dennis M. Koenig, 64, of Farrar died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1948, in Farrar, son of Edwin and Alma Luehrs Koenig.
Koenig was a farmer of livestock and agriculture. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church at Farrar. He enjoyed antique tractor pulls and antique tractors.
He served 22 years in the National Guard.
Survivors include three brothers, Norman (Euline) Koenig, Willis (Janet) Koenig and Wayne (Mary) Koenig, all of Farrar; and a brother-in-law, Ron Wiebusch of Chester, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ruby Wiebusch.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or Saxony High School.
