PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Eunice F. Koenig, 74, of Perryville died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to family use.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 for 74-year-old Eunice F. Koenig of Perryville who died March 24, 2012 at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.

She was born June 8, 1937, in Farrar, the daughter of Walter and Flora (Bachmann) Steffens.

She married Marvin "Red" Koenig on June 17, 1956. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by four sons: Russell (Mary) Koenig of Perryville; Randy (Kathy) Koenig of Newburgh, Indiana; Darrell (Sandra) Koenig of Cape Girardeau; Lynn (Dana) Koenig of Perryville; two daughters: Sharon (Phillip) Bruckerhoff of Perryville and Janette "Jan" Emmendorfer of High Ridge; two brothers: a twin brother Eugene Steffens of St. Louis and John Steffens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three sisters: Dorothy Wills, LaVerne Schaefer and Ruby Moldenhauer all of Perryville; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth.

She was a seamstress and a home maker.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, LWML and volunteer at the thrift store and loved sewing.

Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, March 26 and 6:30-8:30 Tuesday, March 27 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
