Krauss, Harvey William
A funeral will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013 for 90-year-old Harvey William Krauss of Perryville who died May 27, 2013 at his daughter’s residence in Perryville.
He was born December 1, 1922 in Friedenberg, the son of Eugene and Magdalena (Bergmann) Krauss.
He married Frances Anna Dambach on February 24, 1946. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by a daughter: Karolyn (Larry) Marr of Perryville; two grandchildren: Scott (Cheryl) Marr of Perryville and Jamie Marr (fiancee Jaime Bierk) of Arnold; six great grandchildren: Michael, Chastity, Chelsy, Abby, Adam and Lilly; and two great-great- grandchildren Aubrey and Jake.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Howard Krauss.
He was a farmer, a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, and an American Legion Post 133 Booster member.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29th from 4 to 8 p.m., and 6:30-10 a.m. Thursday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 90-year-old Harvey William Krauss of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville with The Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating.
Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to American Diabetes Association, Serenity Hospice or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
