Ladd, James "Jim"
ADVANCE, Mo. -- James "Jim" Ladd, 76, of Advance, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at the Monticello House in Jackson.
He was born Dec. 20, 1938, in Bollinger County, Missouri, the son of Finis and Thelma Whitehead Ladd.
Jim had been a timber worker and had owned two service stations.
Jim and Grace Nall were united in marriage May 3, 1958, at Glennon, Missouri. She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Ladd of Cape Girardeau and Todd Ladd of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will be in Glennon Cemetery in Glennon.
