Lang, Lynn Edward

Lynn Edward Lang, 50, of Gordonville died Thursday, Oct 25, 2012.

He was born Nov 10, 1961, son of Byron L. and Margaret E. Nitsch Lang.

Lynn was a life member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson where he was baptized and confirmed. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1980. He was the founder and operator of Lang Livestock and moved livestock nationwide. Lynn was an avid St Louis Rams football fan and a NASCAR fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Sara (Stacy) Moyers of Sikeston, Mo., and Karissa Trimpe of Tuscon, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Amanda Gast and Kimber Luttrell Lang of Jackson; a brother, Roger (Lisa) Lang of Jackson; a niece, Trina (Jake) Hindman of Festus, Mo.; two nephews, Scott and Matt Lang of Jackson; and a special friend, Joyce May of Whitewater.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Margaret Lang.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
