Lauck, August Joseph "Gussie"

A funeral will be held Thursday, February 22nd, 2001 for 85-year-old August J. "Gussie" Lauck of Perryville, who died Tuesday, February 20th at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born September 7th, 1915 in Perry County, the son of Joseph and Anna Unterreiner Lauck. Both preceded in death.

He married Geraldine Schnurbusch on June 3rd, 1941 at Apple Creek. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a daughter: Margie A. Winschel of Perryville. Two sons survive: Eugene J. Lauck and Gary A. Lauck of Perryville.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

He was a lifetime farmer and a member of St. Joseph Parish at Apple Creek, where he served as an usher.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21st and again from 6:30-9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 22nd at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A Parish Wake Service will held at 6 p.m. Wednesday and the Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

A funeral for 85-year-old August J. "Gussie" Lauck of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 22nd at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek.

The Reverend Mark Bozada will officiate.

Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek.

Memorials may be sent to St. Joseph Parish or Masses.
