Lee, Elnora C. (nee Seabaugh)
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Elnora C. Lee, 100, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 18, 1914 in Zalma, Mo., to Earl V. and Bertha A. Abernathy Seabaugh. She married Charles A. Lee on Jan. 2, 1932. He preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1977.
Elnora was a member of First Christian Church and Chaffee Ladies American Legion Auxiliary Post 389. She retired as a machine operator at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lee of Chaffee; two daughters, Shirley Lee of Chaffee and Charlene (C.L.) Horton of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, Margie Lee of Chaffee; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Sonny Lee; three brothers; and two sisters.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery at Oran.
