Lee, Jerry
Jerry Lee, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 10, 1933, in Sikeston, Mo., to Elmus D. and Dialtha McGill Lee. He and Pat Bond were married Dec. 21, 1957, in Sikeston.
Jerry was a graduate of Sikeston High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Jerry worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., and was a manager at Broker's Bonded Warehouse. He was a member of VFW Post 3838 and TPA.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Lee of Cape Girardeau; a son, David B. Cotner of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Michele Cotner of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Sue Leigh.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Shupert officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to be used toward a grave marker.
