Lewis, Jennifer (nee Ormiston)
Jennifer Ormiston Lewis, 29, of Columbia passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at University Hospital from complications of Addisons Disease.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at First Christian Church in Columbia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born June 8, 1977, in Columbia, the daughter of Bob and Pru Ormiston. On July 8, 2006, she married Marc Lewis in Columbia, and he survives.
She attended school in Columbia and Chillicothe, graduated high school from Sedalia Smith-Cotton, and attended Johnson County Community College and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Jennifer worked in Kansas City until moving home to Columbia, working most recently at University Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Marc Lewis; parents, Bob and Pru Ormiston; brothers, Sam Ormiston, Jason Ormiston and his wife, Beth; niece, Naomi; nephew, Graham; grandmother, Lucille Ormiston; and Marc’s family: parents, Cheryl and Mike Haynes, Bill and Sarah Lewis; brother Matt Lewis; and sister Suzy Peel. Jennifer is also survived by a very large extended family and friends that love her and will miss her.
Memorial contributions are suggested in Jennifer’s honor to the Endocrinology Department of the University Hospital and Clinics, c/o Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business 70 W., Columbia, Mo. 65202.
