Joan M. Baudendistel L'Hote, 63, of St. Louis went home to God on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013. She was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Perryville, Mo., daughter of Louis and Cordula Leible Baudendistel. Joan was the loving wife of Hubert "Louie" L'Hote Jr. They were married July 11, 1970, and lived happily together 43 years...

A funeral will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 for 63-year-old Joan M. (Baudendistel) L’Hote of St Louis who died September 16, 2013.
She was born January 20, 1950 in Perryville, the daughter of Louis and Cordula (Leible) Baudendistel who both preceded her in death.
She married Hubert "Louie" L’Hote Jr. July 11, 1970. He survives in St. Louis.
She is survived by her children: Kim (John) Evans and Justin (Nikki) L’Hote all of St. Louis; grandchildren: Brianna, Jaxon, and Camden; sisters and brothers: Darlene McLemore of Jackson, Velma (Elmer) Oswald and Doris Hoehn all of Perryville, Donny (Beverly) Baudendistelof St. Charles, Nancy (Sonny) Hagan, Louis "Jr" (Ann) Baudendistel and Marilyn (Ronnie) Berkbuegler all of Perryville; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Bob McLemore and Kenny Hoehn and two nephews: Michael Berkbuegler and Dwayne Cox.
She had been office manager at L’Hote & Company P.C.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Joan was a ray of light in the world. She was a friend to many and loved by all who met her. She was a "Cheer Grandma", a "Hockey Mom", and a "Soccer Mom". She loved to dance, color and cuddle with her grandkids, and spend time with her family.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday, September 19 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A funeral for 63-year-old Joan M. (Baudendistel) L’Hote of St Louis will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Washington University Physicians research of Mycobacterium disease or the American Lung Association.
