L'Hote, Rickey Ray

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rickey Ray L'Hote, 58, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 30, 1954, in Perryville, the son of Hubert A. L'Hote and Mae C. Moore L'Hote Buchheit.

Mr. L'Hote had worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a sales and service associate. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and was a booster member of the VFW Post 4282 and American Legion Post 133.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela (Jason) Unterreiner of Perryville, Cassidy L'Hote of O'Fallon, Ill.; two brothers and two sisters, Carol (Lester) Wingerter, John (JoAnne) L'Hote both of Perryville, Hubert Louie (Joan) L'Hote, Marilyn Kay (Mike) Hagan both of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Simon, James, Sara, Mary, Isaac and Elijah.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. A Catholic Wake will be at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan CM officiating. Burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred for St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
