Funeral service for Mildred (Millie) Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau, was held at 2 p.m., March 5, 2000 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Clayton Smith officiated, and burial was in Memorial Park, Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Limbaugh, 74, died March 2, 2000 at her home. She was born Oct. 13, 1925 in Searcy, AR, a daughter of Glenn A. and Retha Russell Armstrong. On May 21, 1949, she was married to Rush H. Limbaugh Jr., who died Dec. 8, 1990.

She graduated from Kenneth High School in 1943, and was employed as a secretary at the Malden Air Force Base during World War II. She attended Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, for two years.

Mrs. Limbaugh sang professionally in Chicago, Il, for a short time. She was a member of the Cape Choraliers, and a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church choir for many years.

Mrs. Limbaugh was a former committeewoman for the Cape Girardeau Women's Republican Club, and a member of PEO Chapter GF. She was a former member of Cape Girardeau Area "99s Women's Pilot organization.

Surviving are two sons, Rush Limbaugh III, and David Scott Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
