Ethel Imogene Crites Lincoln, 85, of Scopus, Mo., passed into eternal life of Sunday, March 30, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born on June 30, 1928, in the the community of Mayfield, Mo., she was the daughter of Pervis and Sarah Frances Pulliam Crites.

On Oct. 2, 1946, she married Miles James Lincoln. They made their home in St. Louis for many years. Around 1970 they moved to Scopus. Ethel found work as a store clerk at several stores, the last being at Walmart in the fabric department. Miles preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 2005.

She is survived by two sons: Ronald Lincoln, Sr., of Glen Allen, Mo., and Randy Lincoln of Whitewater, Mo.; a daughter, Joyce Lemons of Marble Hill, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Falgier, a brother, Hobert Crites, and two sisters, Beatrice Mayfield, and IVD Seabaugh.

Visitation and funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery near Scopus.
