A funeral will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 for 79-year-old Harlan E. Lintner who died May 6, 2013 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born January 25, 1934 in Perry County, the son of Edwin J. and Katherine D. (Hoehn) Lintner who both preceded him in death.

He was also preceded by his dear companion Stephanie "Stevie" Marcellan.

He is survived by a son: Dale E. (Kathy) Lintner of Cadet; three nieces: Linda (Dave) Geringer and Mary Sue Hennemann both of Perryville and Elizabeth (Scott) Buerck of Patton; five great nieces and nephews: Dylan Geringer, Derrick Geringer, Cassandra Goldsmith, Katie Reed and Luke Reed.

He is also survived by Stephanie’s children; Timothy Goree, Kim Raye McKenzie, Sallie Robertson, Marc Marcellan and Scott Marcellan.

He was also preceded in death by a sister.

He was a heavy equipment operating engineer. He was a member of American Legion, Am Vets Post 94, Operating Engineer Local 513 and an Army veteran.

Visitation will be 7-11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 79-year-old Harlan E. Lintner will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate.

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville, with military graveside service provided by American Legion and the Delta Team.
