PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Odes W. "Jim" Lintner, 89, of Perryville died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Perry Oaks Manor. He was born Jan. 28, 1918, in Perry County, son of Alvin A. and Sophia Horn Lintner. Lintner was a farm hand and worked for Bailey Stave Mill. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church...

A funeral will be held Thursday, March 29th, 2007 for Odes W. "Jim" Lintner of Perryville, who died Sunday, March 25th at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.

He was born January 28th, 1919 in Perry County, the son of Alvin A. and Sophia (Horn) Lintner, who both preceded him in death.

He is also survived by a niece, Marilyn A. Balsman, of St. Louis, other nieces; nephews; great nieces and great nephews.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Leroy and Alvin and a sister, Olga Schaupert.

He was a farm hand and also worked for the Bailey Stave Mill.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 28th and 6:30-10 a.m. Thursday, March 29th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 89-year-old Odes W. "Jim" Lintner of Perryville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. David Liebnau will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Debt Reduction Fund or to the radio broadcast.
