Littleton, Iola Ann (nee Clements)
A funeral was held this morning, Monday, December 24th, 2001 for 72-year-old Iola Ann Littleton of Perryville who died Friday, December 21st at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 6th, 1929 in Perry County, the daughter of August and Albertine (Behrle) Clements who both preceded her in death.
She married Frank J. Farrar on May 1st, 1948. He preceded her in death.
She married Charles Littleton on April 30th, 1994. He survives in Perryville.
She is also survived by two sons and daughters in law: James Joseph and Charlotte Farrar of Perryville and Michael James and Helen Farrar of Friedheim.
She is also survived by three daughters and sons in law: Catherine Theresa and Joe Unterreiner of O'Fallon; Mary Ann and Kevin Brown of Ste. Genevieve and Karen Marie and Kevin Clifton of Perryville.
Three stepsons also survive: Michael Littleton and his wife, Connie, of Perryville; Dwight Littleton and Dewayne Littleton, both of Perryville.
One sister and brother in law survive: Viola and Delvin Yamnitz of Perryville.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven step grandchildren
She was a homemaker and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Good Neighbors Club.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene Paul; five brothers, Jess, Wilbert, Joseph, Anthony and John and by one sister Birdell Behrle.
A funeral for 72-year-old Iola Ann Littleton of Perryville was held this morning at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M., officiated.
Memorials may be made to the Garden of Hope at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements were by the Young and Sons Funeral Home.
