Lorenz, Lorene S. (nee Hoehn)

Frohna, Mo. -- Lorene S. Lorenz, 94, of Frohna died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born July 29, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of William J. and Barbara Boxdorfer Hoehn. She and Rudolph C. Kaempfe were married on May 18, 1933. He died on July 2, 1949. She and Norman A. Lorenz were married on April 25, 1952. He died on Nov. 19, 1998.

Lorenz was a retired dietary supervisor at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include two sisters, Martha Roth of Frohna and Leona Zoellner of Festus, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.

Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville was in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service was held today (Monday, November 28th, 2005) for 94-year-old Lorene Z. Lorenz of Frohna who died Saturday, November 26th at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born July 29th, 1911 in Perry County, the daughter of William J. and Barbara (Boxdorfer) Hoehn who both preceded her in death.

She married Rudolph C. Kaempfe on May 18th, 1933. He preceded her in death.

She married Norman A. Lorenz. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sisters, Martha Roth of Frohna and Leona Zoellner of Festus and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.

She was retired after 26 years as a dietary supervisor at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Wittenburg.

A graveside service for 94-year-old Lorene S. Lorenz of Frohna was held at 2 p.m. today (Monday, November 28th, 2005) at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Wayne Palmer officiated.

Memorials may be made to the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, to the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville or to a charity of the donor's choice.
