A funeral will be held Friday for 82-year-old Viola Marie Lowes of Perryville who died Tuesday at Holiday Residential Care in Perryville.
She was born April 3, 1931 in Perryville, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Berkbigler) Baer who both preceded her in death.
She married Earl Lowes on January 10, 1953. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1996.
She is survived by a son: Alan (Rebecca) Lowes in Perryville; a sister; Virginia Moonier of Godfrey, Illinois; two granddaughters: Timna Lowes and Cassondra Robinson and three great grandchildren: Madison Slacer, Marley Lowes and Alanna Robinson.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Dorothy Hunt.
Viola had worked at International Shoe Factory.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at Young & Sons Funeral Home
A Catholic Wake will be held at 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
A funeral for 82-year-old Viola Marie Lowes of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
