Lufcy, Shirley Jean (nee Strong)
Shirley Jean Lufcy, 74, of Scott City passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at her home.
She was born April 26, 1939, at Advance, Mo., daughter of Raymond and Gertrude Copman Strong. She and Jon Charles Lufcy were married Feb. 15, 1958, in Advance.
Shirley taught accounting and finance at Southeast Missouri State University and later retired as a bookkeeper from Shivelbine's Music Store.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jill (Craig) Goodson of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Kinsey Goodson.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Belle Robins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
