PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clyde B. Lukefahr, 88, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 a.m. to time of service Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating.

Burial in Crossroads United Methodist Cemetery in Bollinger County, with military graveside service provided by American Legion and Delta Team.

A funeral will be held Monday for 88-year-old Clyde B. Lukefahr of Perryville, who died October 4, 2012 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 2, 1924 in Perry Co., the son of Joseph D. and Emma G. (Huber) Lukefahr who both preceded him in death.

He married Viola Hendrix February 1, 1947. She preceded him in death on February 8, 1993.

He married Marie A. (Blaylock) White June 18, 1994. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a daughter and two sons: Donna (Harry) Johnson of Sedgewickville and Wayne (Sandy) Lukefahr and Mark (Sue) Lukefahr, both of Perryville; three stepsons and a stepdaughter: Larry (Erma) White and Ray (Susan) White, both of Perryville and Dennis (Vicki) White of Gallatin, Tennessee and Rhonda (Hank) Lopez of Perryville; a brother: Earl J. Lukefahr of Perryville; a sister: Edna R. Conrad of Jackson, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 22 step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy and three sisters: Ethel and Clara Mae Lukefahr and Etta June French

He was a farmer.

He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church, American Legion and VFW.

He was a US Navy veteran of WWII.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30-10 a.m. Monday at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
