Luttrell, Billy J.
Billy J. Luttrell, 78, of Millersville passed away August 19, 2013, at his home.
He was born September 19, 1934, in Jackson, MS, son of John & Edith Duty Luttrell. He and Patsy Criddle were married December 25, 1954. She passed away April 30, 2008.
He was a former member of Scopus United Methodist Church for 17 years, member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Millersville. He was the Owner and Operator of Luttrell Upholstery, farmed and raised cattle for over 40 years.
Loving survivors include Fiancée, Genece Felty of Millersville, a brother, Bob (Janet) Luttrell of Cape Girardeau, 4 sisters, Shirley Phillips of Sparta, IL, Georgie Pollack, of Anna, IL, Vickie (Gene) Holston of Dexter, MO, and Barbara Harris of Jackson, MO. Also surviving are 31 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jim Luttrell, Jerry Allen Luttrell, and infant twin brothers; a niece, Deborah Reed; a nephew, Johnny Luttrell; 2 brothers in-law, Garrett Phillips and Charles Pollack.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at McCombs Funeral home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1 PM , at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vernon Long officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
