Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 for 100-year-old Alma K. MacClurg of Perryville, who died December 18, 2013 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born on June 19, 1913 in Friedheim, the daughter of Louis and Bertha (Moeller) Klaus who both preceded her in death.
She married Austin MacClurg. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1980.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Charles MacClurg; a sister: Lydia and six brothers: William, Norbert, Arthur "Jim", Oscar, Edgar and Melvin "Sandy" Klaus.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home.
A memorial service for 100-year-old Alma K. MacClurg of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran School.
