Maintz, Wilhelmine "Minnie" (nee Haupt)

KURREVILLE WOMAN DIES OF DROPSY

Jackson, March 9 - Mrs. Minnie Maintz, aged 86 years, widow of the late Willam Maintz, and a pioneer resident of Kurreville, this county, died this morning, after a long illness due to dropsy.

She was probably born in Germany but came to America while quite young.   She has lived at Kurreville as long as any one here can recall.

She was a Haupt, of the prominent family of the same neighborhood.   She leaves two sons and four daughters.  William lives near Kurreville, and Fred is a doctor in Nebraska.  He married a Miss Tacke, a sister of Franklin Tacke of Arnsburg.  The daughters are Mrs. Hannah Haupt, Mrs. Mary Kester, Mrs. Caroline Smith, all of Cape County, and Mrs. Louisa Streben of Perryville.

The funeral will be held at the Lutheran church at Kurreville Sunday afternoon.
