Malito, Sharon Ann (nee Cook)
Sharon Ann Malito, 59, of Burfordville passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 26, 1953, to Odie and Dorothy Garland Cook. She and William "Bill" Malito were married Nov. 25, 1995.
Sharon was employed by Nestle Purina in Bloomfield, Mo. She attended Haynes Chapel in Millersville. She was a hard worker, a great friend, and a very caring mother, daughter, sister and grandmother to many.
Survivors include her loving husband; mother; four daughters, Gena (Greg) Owens of Marble Hill, Mo., Dana Sander of Millersville, Emily (Tyson) Rees of Jackson, Ashley Boitnott of Burfordville; a stepson, Michael Malito of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Bobby (Eyvon) Cook of Marble Hill; four sisters, Joyce Miller of Garden City, Kan., Mary Lee (Jerry) Sander, Carolyn (Gary) Sander and Connie Stewart, all of Millersville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Haynes Chapel, with the Revs. Jerry Sander and Scott Cook officiating. Burial will be in Haynes Chapel Cemetery at Millersville.
