Mayfield, Gerald "Doc" C.
Gerald "Doc" C. Mayfield, age, 75, of Sedgewickville, MO, passed away Friday April 29, 2005 at the family home following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 13, 1929 at Mayfield, MO, son of Homer H. and Marie Mayfield. He and Elouise Cook were married Sept. 3, 1954 at Sedgewickville.
He was retired as the Head Warehouseman for Atlas Plastic and a Farmer. He was a member and a Deacon of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Elouise, a son, Randy and Carol Mayfield, Sedgewickville, brothers; Jerry Mayfield, Patton, Donald H. Mayfield, Jackson, sister, Verda Mae Angle, Jackson, three grandchildren; Michael Van De Ven, Lindsey and Ethan Mayfield.
Preceding him in death was two sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton and Monday after 10:00 AM, at the Little Whitewater Baptist church. Funeral Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Church with the Rev. James Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sedgewickville.
