McCurdy, Essie Mae (nee Fadler)
Essie Fadler McCurdy 92, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. McCurdy; brothers, Raymond and Bud Fadler; parents, George and Cecelia Fadler. Survivors include her sisters, Darlene Fowler and Virginia Long; best friend, Floretta Eli.
Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until 1 p.m. in Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, Moore & Kirk Irvington Chapel, 5342 E. Washington St. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Perryville, MO.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. McCurdy's memory may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
