McGraw, Kenneth J., Sr.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Kenneth J. McGraw Sr., 53, of Perryville died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was 53.
He was born Sept. 27, 1949, in Cape Girardeau County, the son of Virgil and Elsie M. Hanners McGraw. He married Beverly D. Mitchell on Dec. 6, 1968, at Peoria, Ill.
He had been a deputy sheriff for Perry County and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Kenneth J. McGraw Jr. of Perryville; two daughters, Dianna Dickerson and Amanda McGraw, both of Perryville; two brothers, Frank McGraw of Hamilton, Ill., and Larry McGraw of Perryville; and four sisters, Imogene Bucher of Clubb, Mo., Dixie Weith of Chester, Ill., June Kiefer of St. Ann, Mo., and Sue Trafton of Wapello, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue from 6:30 a.m. until the time of services Sunday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Eddie Long officiating.
Burial will be at Sargent's Chapel Cemetery in Bollinger County. Graveside military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 133.
