Meyer, James Albert

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 for 68-year-old James A. Meyer, formerly of Perryville, who died Sunday, Feb. 24 at Manor Care Nursing Home in St. Louis County.
He was born on April 20, 1933 in Perryville, the son of the late Herman P. and Justine (Lauck) Meyer.
Two sons survive, Craig Meyer of St. Charles, and Mark G. Meyer of South Bend, Ind.
One brother and one sister survive, Donald Meyer of Florissant, and Ethel Ann Thompson of Manchester.
Also surviving are five grandchildren.
Mr. Meyr worked in home improvement and sales and was an Army Veteran.
Visitation will be from 5-9:00 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 27 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish Wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Thursday.
Funeral Mass for James A. Meyer will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Joe Williams, C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
