Meyer, Robert J. "Bob"

Robert J. "Bob" Meyer, 54, of Frohna, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, in rural Perry County.

He was born Feb. 15, 1948, at Uniontown, Mo., daughter of Anton B. and Hilda W. Schott Meyer. He married the former Linda Monier.

Meyer was owner/operator of Bob Meyer Trucking. He was a member of American Legion Post 133 and River Hills Antique Tractor Club.

He served in Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Camden of Sedgewickville, Mo.; three sons, Robert Meyer of Perryville, Mo., Charles and Larry Meyer of Frohna; his mother of Perryville; a sister, Rosella Meyer of Perryville; four brothers, Bernard, William and Franklin Meyer of Perryville, and Edward Meyer of Robertsville, Mo.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 6 tonight, followed by American Legion service at 6:30.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Mo. The Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek, with military honors by American Legion.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 for 54-year-old Robert J. "Bob" Meyer of Frohna who died Sunday, Dec. 1 in rural Perry County.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1948 in Uniontown, Mo., the son of Anton B. Meyer and Hilda W. Schort Meyer.

He was married to Linda Monier who survives.

Survivors include his mother, Hilda Meyer, of Perryville; one daughter, Jennifer L. Camden of Sedgewickville; and three sons, Robert Meyer of Perryville, and Charles Meyer and Larry J. Meyer, both of Frohna.

Also surviving are four brothers and one sister. Bernard L. Meyer, William A. Meyer, Franklin J. Meyer, and Rosella Meyer, all of Perryville; and Edward T. Meyer of Robertsville.

His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Meyer was owner/operator of Bob Meyer Trucking.

He was past member of the Missouri National Guard, American Legion Post #133, the Heartland Social club and River Hills Antique Tractor Club.

Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers at 6:00 p.m. American Legion Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Funeral service for Robert J. "Bob" Meyer will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Burial will be St. Michael’s Cemetery in Apple Creek. Graveside military honors courtesy of the American Legion Post 133.
