Miesner, Mildred M. (nee Burroughs)
FARRAR, Mo. -- Mildred M. Miesner, 88, of Farrar died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.
She was born July 8, 1922, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Otto and Magdalena Mueller Burroughs. She and Theodore Miesner were married Oct. 19, 1952. He preceded her in death July 20, 2010.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Barbara (Randy) Kassel of Perryville, Rodney Miesner of Frohna, Faye (Jim) Schmidt of Altenburg, Mo., Randy (Connie) Miesner and Dennis (Karen) Miesner of Frohna, Becky (Wesley) Hoffman of New Wells; eight grandchildren, Scott and Stuart Kassel, Amanda and Adam Miesner, Katie (Jon) Lorenz, Emily Miesner, Justin and Meredith Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Harold and Marvin Burroughs; and two sisters, Eugenia Lorenz and Alice Palisch.
Mrs. Miesner was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.
