Dolores married Louis Woodrow Miller on May 2, 1942, shortly before he entered the Navy to fight during WW II. Following the war they made their home in Marble Hill. Dolores was a member of the Marble Hill United Methodist Church, serving as an organist and as a member of the Methodist women. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Following retirement from the courthouse, she began work with bookkeeping and tax preparation. Louis died Feb. 13, 2005, and Dolores’ health declined.

She is survived by her children, Bill and Susan; a sister, Annalee Anderson of North Carolina; five grandchildren: Aaron Miller and A.J. Miller, II, April Huddleston, and Rebecca and Adam Lutes; and two great grandchildren: Cameron Huddleston and Wyatt Miller. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Oscar and Kenneth Schreiner, and sisters, Wilma Matthews, and Joanne Zimmerman.
