Minton, Willia B. (nee Slinkard)
Willia B. Minton, 104, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at her home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1909, in Bollinger County, to William and Josie Kinder Slinkard.
Willia had worked at International Shoe Co.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Willia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert David Minton; two sons, Robert C. "Bob" Minton and James Minton; two brothers; and four sisters.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Ford & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
