A funeral will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 for 82-year-old Janet L. Moore of Perryville, who died June 14, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born December 10, 1931 in Perryville, the daughter of Leo DuBois and Maggie Weber DuBois, who both preceded her in death.
She married Vincent Moore on July 26, 1947. He survives in Perryville.
She is also survived by four daughters: Pat Huber of Jackson, Mary Ellen Unterreiner of Coleville, Washington, Linda Phillips of Houston, Texas and Tina Adams of Perryville; two sons: Gerald Moore and Dennis Moore both of Perryville; a brother: Wayne Duke DuBois of Perryville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Vivian Huber and two brothers: Chalmer and Wilmer DuBois.
She was a homemaker, a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church-Brewer, and the Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, and loved birds.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 19 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, June 20 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A funeral mass for 82-year-old Janet L. Moore of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20 at the Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Christ the Savior Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to: The American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
