Morris, Marilyn Ann Sides (nee Snider)
Marilyn Ann Morris, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 9, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Shelton L. and Hazel Coleen Wiley Snider. She was a 1961 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Marilyn worked at First Federal Savings & Loan and later was a bookkeeper at Metro Title Company for several years. She retired in 2007 from Alliance Bank.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie A. (Will) Rhodes of Fruitland; a son, Timothy L. Barnhart of Fruitland; a sister, Bonnie G. Eaves of Jackson; two brothers, Wiley L. (Brenda) Snider of Wyatt, Mo., and Stephen P. Sides of Little Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judith Hewitt.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
